Cabin rental rates and seasons

The Michigan vacation lake resort with cabins for rent is open all year. Rental rates for the cabins during the summer season are $550 to $700 per week. Reduced off-season daily and weekly rates are available upon request. A boat is provided with each cabin; pontoon and motor rentals are available.

Accommodation details

The vacation resort has 6 cabins accommodating from 2 to 8 people, depending upon cabin size. The cabins have a 19" color cable TV (with HBO, ESPN), VCR, free wireless internet, and are fully equipped with microwaves,  pots and pans, dishes, and more. Linens are not provided during the summer season.

The resort has a nice swimming area, fire pit, horseshoes, shuffleboard, swing set, small basketball court, splash boats, a paddle boat, and a fish cleaning house.

Smoking is allowed, pets are not.

Surroundings

The lakefront resort is 2½ miles away from the high traffic area. The quiet property is lakefront on Houghton Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, jet skiing, and water skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, hunting, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing. A fun park and thousands of acres of state land are also nearby.

Houghton Lake is Michigan's largest inland lake. It has 32 miles of shoreline, and 22,000 acres of sandy bottom water. Fish include  walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish. It is also home of the "Tip-Up-Town," the largest winter festival in Michigan.
