Brevard is in southwestern North Carolina, in the Appalachians and

Transylvania County.

the evergreens; rhododendrons bloom lushly in the "pink beds,"
as well as lavender and deep purple. |
| In fall, rich reds and golds light up the majestic mountains. |

| There are more than 200 miles of clear streams and lakes for
fishing and boating. |
