The Indiana vacations lake resort with cottage rentals operates from May through September. Rental rates are based on 4 people (additional person charge $10 per night): Apartments - 4 people (max 5), Cottages only - rates for max of 6 people.

Accommodation Details

This Modern and Clean Family Resort has 2 cottages, and 8 apartment-type units, some have bedrooms. Lakefront suites have Queen beds and full Hideaway beds or futons. All units have air conditioning, color cable TV's, DVD Players and kitchens equipped with stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, dishes, pots and pans. Most units have balconies overlooking the lake.

The lake property has 3 boat and fishing docks, Heated Swimming Pool with a beautiful state-of-the-art Fiber Optic Perimeter lighting system, Jacuzzi, Basketball, Barbecue grills, and Picnic tables. The resort also has 2 new Large Terrace Sundecks on the Lakefront with many Lounge chairs and three swings. Paddle boat rentals are available. The resort has attractive evening lighting to help make your evenings more enjoyable and for night fishing.

Smoking is allowed (only outside please). NO PETS. The resort is not handicap accessible.

Surroundings

The quiet Lakefront Resort is on Lake Shafer, in quiet Lake Shafer Cove. Water recreation includes Swimming, Fishing, Boating, Marinas, Waterskiing, and Waverunner rentals. Indiana Beach Amusement and Water Park, only 300 feet away, offers Live entertainment and Dancing at the Roof Garden Lounge. Indiana Beach has a Water Park. Fine dining at the Sky Room and numerous snack shops. A gala of amusement rides, 8 roller coasters, games, arcade machines, specialty shops, 2 miniature golfs, Kiddyland, and train ride. Nearby are go-karts, water slides, miniature golf, arcades, Horseback riding, Antique collectable shops, Cinemas, Drive-In Movie and 2 beautiful Golf courses, variety of restaurants, Train Museum, Winery, and Madam Carroll Tour Boat.

Lake Shafer covers approximately 1400 acres and has a maximum water depth of 30 feet. Fish include bass (large, small, & stripe), catfish, wipers, crappies, bluegills, and many more. Fishing license required over 17 years old.
