The Indiana vacations lake resort with cottage rentals operates from May through September. Rental rates are based on 4 people (additional person charge $10 per night): Apartments - 4 people (max 5), Cottages - 4 people (max 6).

Higher rates during July 4th & Labor Day weekends, Holidays (3 night minimum). Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards accepted. No checks accepted upon arrival. Ask about our special discounts.

Accommodation Details

This modern and clean family resort has 2 cottages, and 8 apartment-type units, some have bedrooms. Lakefront suites have Queen beds and full Hideaway beds. All units have air conditioning, color cable TV's, and kitchens equipped with microwaves, coffee makers, dishes, pots and pans. Most units have balconies overlooking the lake.

The lake property has 3 boat docks, Heated Swimming Pool with a beautiful state-of-the-art Fiber Optic Perimeter lighting system, Jacuzzi, Basketball, Barbecue grills, and Picnic tables. The resort also has 2 new Large Terrace Sundecks on the Lakefront with many Lounge chairs and three swings. Paddle boat rentals are available. The resort has attractive evening lighting to help make your evenings more enjoyable and for night fishing.

Smoking is allowed (outside please). NO PETS. The resort is not handicap accessible.

Surroundings

The quiet Lakefront Resort is on Lake Shafer, in quiet Lake Shafer Cove. Water recreation includes Swimming, Fishing, Boating, Waterskiing, and Waverunner rentals. Indiana Beach Amusement and Water Park, only 300 feet away, offers Live entertainment and Dancing at the Roof Garden Lounge. Indiana Beach has added two new "water attractions". Fine dining at the Sky Room and numerous snack shops. A gala of amusement rides, 6 roller coasters, games, arcade machines, specialty shops, miniature golf, Kiddyland, and train ride. Nearby are go-karts, water slides, miniature golf, batting cages, arcades, horseback riding, antique collectable shops, cinemas, Drive-Inn Movie and 2 beautiful golf courses.

Lake Shafer covers approximately 1400 acres and has a maximum water depth of 30 feet. Fish include bass (large, small, & stripe), catfish, wipers, crappies, bluegills.
