Accommodation Details

Tent Campground with Bathhouse has 41 campsites.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The cottage has heat and air conditioning, cable TV and DVD/VCR player. The fully-equipped kitchen has a microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Towels are provided. Please bring linens.

Pets negotiable at cottage, OK at campground. Smoking is OK. The campground/cottage is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The area is wooded and secluded. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, and bicycling.

Indiana Beach Rental has view of Roller Coaster from Front Lawn. Water access for boats and jet skis.

Walnut Ridge Campground is 7 miles from Indiana Beach and within walking distance to marina with boat ramp.

Golf, Fishing, Restaurants, and other fun attractions close by.

Looking for a low cost, fun, affordable vacation spot? Indiana Beach and the Twin Lakes is where you need to go.

Lake Shafer and Freeman Lake covers 2000 acres and has a water depth of 40 feet. Motors are allowed. Fish include Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Catfish, and Carp.

We stayed at the Indiana Beach cottage and loved the location because it was only a 5 minute walk to the gates of Indiana Beach Resort and a 2 minute walk to the jet ski and boat rentals. The cottage itself is within 50 yards of the lake with a nice deck.
