Cabin rental rates and seasons

The Log Cabin Resort rental season starts May 10 and ends Sept 30. Call (574) 594-5331 for availability, reservations, and rates.

The rental week begins at 2:00 PM Saturday and ends the next Saturday at 10:00 AM.

Accommodation details

The property has 10 spacious and authentic cabins. The cabins have 2 bedrooms with double beds, a combination living room/kitchen and bathroom. "The Log Cabins" are modern with running water, electricity, and gas for cooking. Three cabins have beautiful fireplaces. The vacation cabins have heat, fireplaces, and kitchens with refrigerators, gas hot plates, dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Please bring linens, blankets, towels, and dish towels.

The lake property has a sand beach, dock, boat launch, children's playground, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, barbecue grills, fire pits, and picnic tables.  Game room for kids with video games. One 14 foot aluminum boat is furnished with each cabin and a 6 hp motor is available to rent for the week. For rent: paddle boats, safety cushions, life jackets, roll-away beds.

No pets...please. Smoking is allowed. The cabins are partially handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cabins are on Kuhn Lake, one of the Barbee Chain of Lakes, in a nice pleasant area with year-round homes. The cabins are situated on three acres of lovely lawn and trees in a recreational area surrounded by 600 feet of channel and 200 feet of lakefront. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, waterskiing, and canoeing. The private beach provides an excellent swimming area with a native sand shore and a lake bottom that has a gradual slope for children. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, and horseback riding. Surrounding cities have shops, many antiques, and a large flea market.

Kuhn Lake covers about 85 acres and has a water depth of 30 feet. Fish include bass, bluegill, crappies, and pike. Boat motors are allowed. 10 mph limit on small lakes.

The cabins are located on State Road 13 about 2 miles south of North Webster and 6 miles north of Pierceton.
