These Beautiful Secluded Rustic Vacation Cabins are open year round. Rental rates and number accommodations are:

#1 Chestnut Ridge (up to 6 persons)
Hot Tub on deck (clean water and Chemicals between each visit)
#2 Turkey Cove (up to 6 persons) 
#4 Hunters Rest (made for a couple)
Large inside Garden Jacuzzi

Accommodation details

This Beautiful Country Property is located atop a Nature Secluded  Kentucky Limestone Cliff, in the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park Areas, traveling Ky. Hwy. # 15, which is a National Scenic By-Way through Powell County, in the hills of Eastern Kentucky.  The Beautiful Rustic Log and Cedar Cabins will accommodate from 2 to 8 people, depending on the cabin.

The living area has gas fireplaces with rockers, they have air-conditioning, full bathrooms, furnished kitchens and some have open lofts overlooking everything below and TV/VCR players.  Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 have a Jacuzzi. New cabin #3 will have a fireplace and hot tub on the deck. They have wrap-round porches with swings, rockers, table and chairs and gas grills.  Each area has a fire pit for outside campfires (if not fire season) and picnic tables.

All members of your family are welcome, bring the pets, they will enjoy this beautiful setting. If they are well behaved. Smoking is also permitted (just let us know when you register).

Primitive Campgrounds are also available with Shower-house.

Surroundings

These log and cedar cabins are nestled in the beautiful hills of Eastern Kentucky, Remote and very secluded.  They are only a short distance from the Beautiful Red River Gorge area with the Nada Tunnel and Natural Bridge State Park and Sky Bridge Parks, which are in the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Stanton (exit 22) and Slade (exit 33) off Mountain Parkway, are small rural towns, about 7 miles from the cabins.  They have small shops for collectables, antiques, camping equipment and groceries.

IF YOU LOVE THE WILDERNESS AND ENJOY SLEEPING IN THE COUNTRY, THEN YOU WILL ENJOY STAYING AT OUR CABINS!

Since our  “Wilderness” cabins are located “In The Wilderness” please do not be excited if you encounter an occasional bug or cricket. As clean as our cabins are kept, the bugs, the birds, the bees and the crickets, like to come in and visit every once in a while. Although, we do not charge them rent, we ask that you be understanding with them.

We accept personal checks (with identification) and cash. Reservations need to be made as soon as possible (busy months June - October) and cancelled as least one week in advance. No credit cards, please.
