Cottage Rental Rates and Seasons

This Maine private vacation cottage is available for rent from mid-April through mid-October. Weekly rates are:

$800 during April & May
$900 during September & October
$1100 during June, July & August

Accommodation Details

This vacation cottage was built around the turn of the century. It has a large open hearth fireplace in the main room, a dining area, bath with shower, a deck and the fully-equipped kitchen on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor has 3 large bedrooms that sleep 8. The vacation cottage also has a gas grill, phone, color TV, and VCR.

Pets are allowed, smoking is not. The cottage is not handicap accessible.

Surroundings

The cottage is located on the New Meadows Bay,  and the property is wooded, LedgeLawn Cottage is about 6 miles from the open Atlantic Ocean. The beautiful tidal bay is 30-50 feet deep and about ½-mile wide. The vacation cottage is bordered on the front by an Audubon bird sanctuary, and on the back by the Atlantic.

The property has a small beach, and nearby are several public boat launch facilities. A canoe is available with the property, and kayaks are available for rent on the river. The vacation property is a wonderful place to relax and live life at a slower pace.

Water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing, and water skiing. Nearby recreation includes hiking, bicycling, hunting, and horseback riding.

Additional Information

The cottage is midway between Brunswick and Bath, and is easily accessible from Routes 95 and 1.
