Cottage Rental Rates and SeasonsThe Michigan vacation cottages are available for rent from May through October. Rental rates for the lake cottages are $85 to $125 per day, or $550 to $650 per week. Accommodation DetailsThe vacation property has 2 cottages, accommodating from 5 to 6 people each. The heated vacation cottages have TV's, and fully-equipped kitchens with coffee makers, dishes, and pots and pans. Each cottage has its own grill and picnic table. One cottage has a fireplace and phone. Linens and towels are provided. The lake property has a beach area, boat house, dock, and fire pit. A 12-foot aluminum row boat is provided with each cottage. The cottages are not handicapped accessible. SurroundingsThe cottages are located on a wooded hill along a quiet dead-end road. The property is semi-secluded and has 100 feet of shoreline on Chicaugon Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, boating and water skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, and hunting. Chicaugon Lake is a clear spring-fed lake. The lake is about 5 miles long and 1 mile wide, and it has a water depth of 150 feet. Fish include walleye, pike, perch, bass, musky, trout, and panfish. Iron County Pentoga Park and Ojibwa Indian Burial Grounds are within walking distance.
