Vacation Home Rental Rates and Seasons
The Guest House is open year round by the
day, week or month. Rates are $75.00 to $125.00 per night (two night
minimum) with a maximum of 6 guests. Weekly rate is $650.00 with a
maximum of 6 guests. A deposit is required to hold your reservation.
The Guest House is a completely furnished three
bedroom home with a full bath and laundry facilities. It has an open
floor plan and is decorated in a nautical theme. There is a queen bed in
the master bedroom, a full size bed in one guest room and a twin over
full in the other guest room.
The house has heat, a deck, phone, cable TV, DVD, and VCR. The fully-equipped kitchen
has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans.
Linens and towels are provided.
Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped
The home is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Nearby
water recreation includes swimming, fishing, and water skiing. Other nearby recreation
includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling,
downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.
The Guest House is located in the heart of Northern
Michigan's woods and water and is centrally located between
Charlevoix/Petoskey, Traverse City and Gaylord. We are approximately 6
miles from Central Lake, 6 miles from Ellsworth, and 10 miles from East
Jordan. There are over 20 championship golf courses within minutes
including Antrim Dells, The Chief, Ag-a-ming, Hawk's Eye, Marsh Ridge
and many others. Two 5-star restaurants, The Rowe and Tapawingo, are
located in Ellsworth. Walk to the beach or drive to Lake Michigan just a
short distance away. Snow ski at Boyne Mountain or Shanty Creek.
Snowmobile trails are everywhere and connect you to everything. Or just
relax and enjoy the peace and quiet at The Guest House your place to get
away from it all yet close enough to be a part of it all.
Six Mile Lake is part of Antrim County's Upper
Chain-O-Lakes and is an all-season-lake. Just north of Six Mile Lake is
the Natural Area, a two mile stretch of pristine waterway that has been
preserved for generations to come and is the home of many rare plant
