The Michigan vacation getaway cottage is available for rent from May to November. Rental rates are:

Accommodation Details

The vacation cottage has 2 bedrooms/1 bath, and it sleeps 6. The cottage has heat, a screened porch, fireplace, cable TV and VCR. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are not provided.

The lakefront property has a sand beach, dock, picnic table, and barbecue grill.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The home is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, trophy fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Boats may be rented nearby. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting.

Higgins Lake covers approximately 10,300 acres, with a maximum water depth of 136 feet. Higgins Lake has been called the 6th most beautiful lake in the world with its white sand beaches and emerald green crystal clear water. It will spoil you for all other lakes. Fish include perch, smelt, small mouth bass, brown trout, lake trout, splake, pike, and white fish. Fishing guide service is available.
