Vacation Cottage Rental Rates and Seasons
Weekly rentals from Memorial Day through
$1050 weekly rental week starts Saturday
at 1:00 P.M. and goes to Friday at noon. Also rent nightly with 2 night
minimum in May and September.
The vacation cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, and
sleeps 6. The cottage has air conditioning, a fireplace, VCR, DVD/CD
player, and radio. The
fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.
The home has 3 bedrooms with the following types of beds: King,
queen, and twins respectively. There is a 120 foot dock for your own
boat. Also included is a nice fire pit with wood for your convenience.
It also includes a ROW BOAT, gas grill, and picnic table. Eagle Lake is
a fisherman's delight with plenty of bass. Also included at no
additional charge are plenty of frogs, duck, geese, swans, and cranes.
The lakefront property has a sand beach.
Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not
Eagle Lake Cottage is on a dead end road. The lake is
not heavily populated so it is not full of water traffic. Both of these
attributes contribute to a quiet and relaxing vacation on the water.
Nearby water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling,
fishing, and water skiing. Other nearby
recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding.
In the Heart of Grape country. Wineries are top
visited attractions. Kalamazoo Air Zoo is second. Formula K race cars
with batting cage is near by. Close to area farm markets for fresh
fruits and vegetables. South Haven, Kalamazoo, and South Bend are
approximately 30 minutes away. Biking/Walking Trail runs between
Kalamazoo and South Haven named the Kal-Haven Trail with easy access
from Eagle Lake Cottage.
Eagle Lake is a spring fed, 198 acre, all sports lake
located in Van Buren County. One of the cleanest lakes in the area.
Eagle Lake is a fisherman's delight with plenty of bass.
