Rental Rates and Seasons

The Michigan vacation getaway cottages are available for rent from

Spring through November.

Rental rates:

Cottages are rented only by the week for the period of approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day. Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.  Check our website for off season rates.

Cottages #1 & #2 -- weekly rate $1,000

Daily rate is $135/night with a two-night minimum

Cottage #3  -- weekly rate $1,100

Daily rate is $150/night with a two-night minimum

Cottage #4 – weekly rate $1,300

Daily rate is $185/night with a two-night minimum

An amount equal to one half of the total nights booked is required

as a deposit at the time of booking.

*A $100 deposit will be required as a security deposit. This deposit will be returned within one week if the cottage is left clean, undamaged, and smoke free. Guests will be asked to sign a lease. Accommodation Details

Cottage #1 has two bedrooms, one bath and accommodates up to four adults. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed.  There is a great room (combination living/dining/kitchen).

Cottage #2 has two bedrooms, one bath and accommodates up to four adults. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a great room (combination living/dining/kitchen).

Cottage #3 has two larger bedrooms, one bath and accommodates up to five adults.  One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a queen bed and a single day bed.  It has a larger great room (combination living/dining/kitchen) with a queen futon. 

Cottage #4 was remodeled in 2008.  It has two bedrooms and one bath and accommodates up to four adults.  It has a separate kitchen and living room and it larger than the other cottages.  It is located at the end of the point, surrounded on 3 sides by water, with spectacular water views from every room.

All cottages have been recently remodeled or newly built.  All are fully equipped including heat and air conditioning, a TV and DVD. The fully equipped kitchens have a full sized stove and refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes, and pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc (see our website for a complete list of items included). One set of linens and towels are provided per registered guest.

Included with each lakefront cottage are a pier, fire-pit, grill, picnic table and canoe. Plenty of shoreline to relax, swim or fish. Walk our nature trail on an acre of woods or stroll around the beautiful grounds.

Pets and smoking are not allowed.  The cottages are not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cottages are located on over 4 acres at the end of a dead end road on a peninsula. This is a very quiet and remote area, yet close to town.  Water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing, boating, water skiing, and canoeing. Nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, antiquing, bicycling, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting. Also nearby: Wineries, restaurants, movies, grocery stores, laundry facilities, skiing, golf, fruit picking, and shopping.

Located in southwestern Michigan, on Ackley Lake - accessible to Maple Lake, in Paw Paw, Michigan (approximately 3 miles northeast of I-94 at exit 60). Two hour drive from Chicago or Detroit. 20 miles west of Kalamazoo, 25 miles east of South Haven.

Ackley and Maple Lakes cover about 250 acres. Fish include bass, sunfish, perch, crappie, northern, and walleye (Trout/ salmon river nearby).
