Cottage rental rates and seasons The Michigan vacation cottages are available for rent May through September. During the summer season, the rental rate for each cottage is 375.00 to $550.00 per week (Saturday to Saturday). Off-season, the rental rate is $75 to 85.00 per night. Accommodation details The vacation property has 2 waterfront cottages located in a quiet residential area on Bell Bay looking out to Lake Huron. One is a 2 bedroom/1 bath unit accommodating 5, and the other a 3 bedroom/1 bath unit accommodating 8. The vacation cottages have heat, screened porches, cable TV's, DVD players, and fully-equipped kitchens with coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. The larger cottage has a 2 car attached garage, washer and dryer. Linens and towels are not provided. The lake property has sandy bottom swimming, picnic table, barbecue grills and fire pit. There is a boat launch at the end of the street. Smoking is allowed. Pets are allowed with cleaning fee. The cottages are not handicap accessible. Surroundings The lakefront cottages are remote and quiet, and the property is wooded. It is a peaceful setting surrounded by State forest with a network of trails and a nearby landlocked lagoon which hosts the remains of a sunken ship. Minutes away are the two Presque Isle lighthouses. The cottages look out to Lake Huron where water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing and water skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, off road trails, & Ocqueoc Falls. Lake Huron fish include Perch, Walleye, Whitefish, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, and Salmon (fall).
