Welcome to the Love Lodge of Sheridan Michigan USA - a relaxing secluded vacation spot for you and your family to enjoy. The lodge is unique, featuring a different experience using Alternative Energy. As you enter the lodge it begins with a solar powered remote control gate in and out of the woods. The lodge is powered by battery lighting and L.P. gas, not your conventional power source. We welcome you to experience our lodge that was built with love. We offer a different type of lodging that we hope you will enjoy. The lodge was built by our family with the thought of offering a simple and affordable way to vacation. Our love for the land and wildlife inspired us to keep as much of our natural resources preserved and to share the tranquility with others.

The vacation lodge has 3 bedrooms/1 bath and sleeps 8. The lodge has heat, deck, balcony, and color TV. The kitchen has dishes, pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. Bathroom toiletries are provided (eg; shampoo, conditioner, soap).

The lakefront property has a dock, picnic table, barbecue grill, and fire pit. A trail leads down to the water where two boats are kept for guest use (pontoon boat and a row boat).

Pets and smoking are not allowed.

Surroundings

The lakefront lodge is in a quiet setting that is located on 50 wooded acres with total seclusion. There are nature trails throughout the property and a trail down to Lampman Lake. A pontoon and a row boat are available to use on the lake, complete with life preservers. The lake offers a variety of fish. Enjoy the different variety of wild flowers (seasonal) all through the woods. After a refreshing day of nature walks or fishing enjoy the experience of a warm gravity fed shower.

Nearby water recreation includes swimming, scuba diving, trophy fishing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, and bicycling. Hunting is at nearby state land. Also, close by: Movie Theatre, Shopping, VFW, Ionia Fair in July.

Lampman Lake covers 18 acres and has a water depth of 40 feet. This is a no wake lake. Fish include Bass, Blue Gill, Crappie, Perch, and Pike.

Additional Information

Your conventional electrical appliances from home such as; microwaves, curling irons, fans, hair dryers will not work in our lodge. This is because the Love Lodge is powered by a 12 volt battery source.
