The kitchens are equipped with coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. Each cabin has a full kitchen and bathroom. The cabin decks are 40 ft from Spider Lake. The lake property has a sand beach, dock, picnic tables and fire pit. An aluminum boat, canoe, kayaks, and peddle boat are provided. Outboard motors and new pontoon boats are available for rent. A boat launch is nearby. SurroundingsThe cabins are secluded and quiet. The property is wooded and on spring fed, sandy Spider Lake, where water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, trophy fishing, waterskiing, canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and more. Spider Lake covers about 450 acres and has a water depth of 40 feet. Fish include bass, bluegill, perch, pike and crappie. Motors are allowed and there is a speed limit from 7:30 pm - 11 am. This property is ten minutes from Traverse City and convenient to restaurants, shopping, playgrounds, nightspots, festivals, Lake Michigan beaches, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Interlochen Arts Academy, casinos, lighthouses, churches and more. Enjoy a stress free and quiet environment within the Pere Marquette State Forest. Access to the cabins is by a private blacktop drive off Lakeview Trail.
