rent all year. Rental rates are: Late June through mid August: $1900/week Off season: 3 night minimum at $150/night or $1000/week Dogs $250 extra per week Accommodation DetailsThis beautiful cottage/home is nestled in the woods on sandy Spider Lake, an all-sports lake. The cottage is fully renovated and sleeps 8 comfortably. It is tastefully decorated in northwoods with leather sofas, natural log beds, quilts and linens. The cottage has heat, deck, balcony, washer/dryer, phone, cable TV, VCR and a CD player/radio. Included is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, all pots, pans, and dishes. All linens and towels, and an initial supply of paper products and soaps are included. The cottage has three queen size beds a twin bunk bed set and one bathroom with bath/shower. It is very spacious with a view of the lake from every room. There is a deck on the cottage with outdoor furniture and a barbeque grill. There is also a dock next to the sand beach area and a fire pit. There is a use-at-your-own-risk row boat, a kayak and day sailer and and 11 ft. round float for sunbathing and swimming. Pets are allowed (dogs for extra $250 weekly). No smoking, please. The house is not handicapped accessible. SurroundingsThe lakefront home is remote and quiet, and the property is wooded. Water recreation on Spider Lake includes swimming and fishing. Spider Lake is known for its warm water and sand bottom with great coves and islands to explore. Motors are allowed on the lake and a public access for launching boats is nearby. Fish include bass, perch, and blue gill. The cottage is only 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City. Close by is great shopping, dining, fishing, sailing, golf, tennis, jet skiing, parasailing, horse back riding, hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, and the VASA trail. Also within 40 minutes are beautiful lighthouses, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Interlochen Performing Arts Center, and many other quaint towns in northern Michigan as well as Mackinac Island, about 2 hours away.
