Accommodation Details

Loons Landing is an updated log cottage that is directly on Spider Lake. There is a screened porch and large patio overlooking the lake. We have the best beach in the area and the lake is great for swimming, fishing and watersports.

The vacation home has 2 bedrooms/1 bath, and sleeps 8. The cottage has heat, a screened porch, fireplace, deck, all furnishings, cable TV, VCR, CD player, and radio. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens are provided. Please bring towels.

The lakefront property has a sand beach, dock, barbecue grill, fire pit, and picnic table. A row boat is provided. There is a boat launch and a pontoon boat available for rent.

Pets must be pre-approved. Smoking is outdoors only. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The home is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Nearby water recreation includes swimming, fishing, water skiing, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.

Nearby are bike and hiking trails and Sand Dunes.

Loons Landing is located 8 miles from Traverse City. There are numerous stores close by for everything you will need.

Spider Lake covers 500 acres and has a water depth of 60 feet. Fish include bass, pike, and panfish.
