This Ohio private vacation cabin is available for rent April through December. Rental rates are $160 per day. May also be rented by the week or longer, some discounts apply based on length of stay.

Accommodation Details

The log cabin can sleep up to eight comfortably. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. Large loft area with seating and a day bed. Great room, with fireplace and dining area. The cabin has heat plus air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, and dinnerware. Washer and dryer in downstairs bath. Towels and linens are provided.

The large wrap-around deck with covered porch and gas grill adds elegance to outdoor cook outs. Has outdoor furniture and area for campfires. Enjoy a game of horseshoes at the pitts, or shoot some pool in the basement recreation room, equipped with dart board, a TV and a supply of video's for your enjoyment.

No smoking or pets in the cabin. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cabin is located on a quite dead end ridge road with many surrounding trees. It is within walking distance of Tappan lake, and a short drive to a marina and boat launch (boat rentals available). Nearby water recreation includes swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, and hunting. A 20-minute drive takes you into Holmes county and Amish country for a wonderful day of shopping browsing and dinner.

Tappan Lake is approximately 2,350 acres with a maximum water depth of 34 feet. Fish include channel catfish, bullhead, white and largemouth bass, panfish, walleye and saugeye. Motors of up to 200 HP are allowed.
