Rental Rates and Seasons

La Estrella is available year round for recreational rental. The rental rate from April through September is $220/night. The rental rate from October through March is $140/night.

3 day minimum rental except during holidays which require a 4 day minimum rental.

Accommodation Details

La Estrella was built in 2001 and sleeps up to 10 with 2 bedrooms on the first floor and an additional bedroom in the loft. It has central air/heat, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, DSS Satellite, VCR, and CD player with indoor and outdoor speakers. Linen and towels are not provided.

The property has a picnic table, barbecue grill, and fire pit.

Smoking and pets are permitted outside only. The cabin is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The cabin is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. The cabin is located on a 2 acre tract on a side of a hill for a very scenic view. The property has access to the Frio River where water recreation includes swimming, and fishing. Nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, horseback riding, and hunting.

The Frio River is about 200 feet wide and 40 miles long. It has a maximum water depth of 6 feet. Fish include catfish and bass. Motors are not allowed on the river.
