Rental rates and seasons

The Wisconsin vacation cabin rentals are available in May, June, July, August, and September. Rental rates range from $470 to $580 a week.

Accommodation details

The property has 4 cabins, accommodating up to 8 people each. The vacation cabins have heat, cable TV's, and kitchens with coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens are provided. Please bring towels. The cabins are very clean and the owners try to do something new to each cabin every year.

The three 2 bedroom cabins are 20 feet from the lake and a 3 bedroom cabin is 100 feet from the lake. The property is on a slight hill, 20 small steps down to the dock. A circle driveway has a playground and campfire ring located in the middle of it. There is a deck on the boathouse - great for watching sunsets. Good fishing is right off the dock.

The lake property also has a sandbox, tetherball, swing and slide, volleyball, badmitten, basketball, and horseshoes. Each cabin has it's own picnic table and barbeque grill. There is a 14' aluminum boat with each cabin. Outboard motors may be rented. Fish cleaning house and freezer space are available.

Smoking is allowed. Sorry, no pets. The cabins are partially handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

There are great lake views even with the many trees on the property. The cabins are secluded and quiet. The property is on Chetec Lake, where water recreation includes swimming, fishing, waterskiing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding.

Kehoes Northern Retreat is on a dead end road with only 10 houses and a boat landing past them, so there isn't much traffic.

Birchwood with a population of 500 is 8 miles south. Hayward is 25 miles north and has a population of 2000 people. There are 6 golf courses within 25 miles, the closest being 10 miles from the resort.

Chetac Lake covers about 2000 acres and has a water depth of 35 feet. Trolling is allowed. Fish include Perch, Bluegill, Crappie, Northern, Bass, and Walleye. Fishing guide service is available.
