Rental Rates and Seasons

The Wisconsin vacation getaway cabin is available for rent May through October. Rental rates are:

$850.00 per week, up to 4 people
$20.00 per day per additional person

$150.00 per night, up to 4 people
$20.00 per day per additional person, 3 night min.

Deposit required $200.00 or one day's rental for daily rentals. Weekly rentals are from Sat to Sat. Check in time 2:00 PM, check out time 9:00 AM. Cancellation policy: deposit cheerfully refunded with at least 60 day notice and our ability to fill the vacancy.

Accommodation Details

The vacation cabin has 3 bedrooms/2 baths, and sleeps 6. The cabin has heat, a deck, balcony, washer/dryer, phone, TV, VCR, and radio. The house/cabin is newly remodeled with new carpeting - very clean, light and airy. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the luxuries of home. Linens and towels are provided.

The lakefront property has a very private dock, barbecue grill, fire pit, and picnic table. Also fish cleaning house and good parking for boats.

Smoking is outside only. Pets: Kennel trained, $50 per pet per week.

Surroundings

The cabin is remote and quiet, and the property is wooded. The cabin is located on High Lake at the headwaters of the Manitowish river, 8 miles northeast of Boulder Junction, in the northern Highland forest. High Lake is great for all water sports from boating, waterskiing and canoeing to scuba diving and swimming. The property has Level lake access with boat ramp less than 1 mile from cabin. There are also 194 lakes in a nine mile radius of Boulder Junction. Nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.

High Lake is connected to Fishtrap Lake and the Manitowish River for miles of scenic waterway. High Lake covers 760 acres. Motors are allowed. Fish include muskey, walleye, northern pike, crappie, bluegill, bass, perch. Fishing guide service is available.
