Vacation Cabin Rental Rates and Seasons

Rental season goes from May thru November. Summer weekly cabin rentals range from $625.00 - $850.00. Spring & Fall weekly rates range from $500.00-$700.00. Nightly rates starting at $95.00.

Accommodation Details

Red Cedar Springs Resort consists of seven cabins:

Cabin 1, the largest, three bedroom cabin, accommodates up to 8 guests. It is 45 feet from the lake, has a deck and its own fire pit.

Cabins 2, 3 & 4 are housed in the long lakeside building. They are two bedroom cabins, 45 feet from the lake, each accommodating up to 6 guests. A huge fire pit is nearby for relaxing campfires.

Cabin 6 is 200 feet from the lake, on top of a hill, with a deck over looking woods and a creek. Cabin 6 has its own fire pit.

Cabins 7 & 8 are two story cabins 75 feet from the lake. Cabin 7, is a two bedroom cabin that accommodates up to 4 guests and has a patio facing the lake. Cabin 8, is a three bedroom cabin accommodating up to 8 guests, with two decks - one facing the lake and one off the back of the cabin for easy grilling access.

All cabins are very clean and bed linens are provided, please bring your own towels and paper products. Picnic tables or patio sets, and grill are provided for each cabin. The cabins have heat and color TV with cable. The fully-equipped kitchens include refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, dishes, and cooking utensils. Laundry facilities are available.

Beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from each cabin. Our quiet resort is off the road, and at the end of the lake. The resort also has a private boat launch, tether ball, sandbox, three fire pits, and paddle boats.

We have plenty of dock space not only for boats but also great for fishing off of. There is a very slight slope with 2-3 steps going down to the lake and or docks. Our resort also has a private, concrete boat landing for easy access on and off the lake. Big Lake Chetac is part of a chain of lakes with Big and Little Birch Lakes that span nine miles of fishing territory. Modern fish cleaning house can be used by guests.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The resort is secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded. Nearby water recreation includes swimming, fishing, and water skiing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting.

Great restaurants, golf courses, shopping, casinos, ATV trails, hiking trails, biking trails, horse back riding, antique shops and gift shops, can be enjoyed in the neighboring towns of Birchwood, Hayward, Rice Lake and Stone Lake.

Big Lake Chetac covers 1,920 acres and has a water depth of 35 feet. Motors are allowed with no size limit. Fish include Bluegill, Walleye, Northern, Large & Small Mouth Bass, Perch, and Crappies.
