The Wisconsin vacation getaway cottage is available for rent Spring, Summer, and Fall. Rental rates for the lake house are:

Check-in is 4:00 PM Saturday.
Checkout is 10:00 AM Saturday. 
There is a $300 refundable deposit required.

Accommodation Details

This chalet is a small new home on private frontage, located on the north shore of lake Puckaway between Princeton and Montello, in central Wisconsin. The cottage is popular for family vacations and is always kept very clean for each new tenant. 

The vacation cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1½ baths, and it sleeps 6. The master bedroom, located on the 2nd floor, has a queen size bed and a balcony facing the lake. The other bedroom has a double bed along with a set of child size bunk beds. A toilet room is also upstairs. Downstairs is a double size fold-out couch and full bathroom with laundry. The cottage has heat and air conditioning, hot tub, deck, balcony, phone, satellite 21" color TV and VCR. The refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer, TV and VCR were purchased new a few years ago. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens are provided. Please bring soap, paper towels, and T. P. 

There is a full view of the lake through the living room windows and also from the private hot tub and gazebo. The house is on a spacious lawn with room to play catch or yard games. There is a picnic table on the patio along with other seating and a grill.

The lakefront property has a sand beach, pier/dock and fire pit. The vacation property also has a sail boat, canoe and rowboat. A 100 ft private pier reaches into the water with a deck + 4 chairs. Great for family vacations!

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

The home is secluded and quiet, and the property is partially wooded. Nearby water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing, water skiing and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding and hunting. 

Lake Puckaway covers 5000+ acres (2 by 5 miles) and has a maximum water depth of 20 feet. Fish include bass, northern, walleye and panfish. Fishing guide service is available. Lake Puckaway is great for swimming with small children because of its sand bottom and how it gradually gets deeper. The water warms up quickly as the lake is not very deep.

The area is famous for its antique shops and flea markets. This is a relaxed community that seems to have that "step back in time" feeling. There are all types of fine dining and lakeside bar/restaurant establishments. The Wisconsin Dells is about 30 miles away. On most weekends there is a old fashioned fireman's picnic, parade or festival nearby. The towns of Montello and Princeton are about 6 miles away.
