Accommodation Details

Two Century House was built in 1860 from hand hewn Door County cedar logs. The wood burning fireplace was crafted from original handmade bricks and log mantel. The house was reconstructed in 1969 at which time a full basement, 2 stall garage and additional living space were added. A short time latter the cottage was added to the property.

The main house has 3 bedrooms/2 full baths, and sleeps 8 in 2 queen and 2 double beds. Includes living room, dining room with beamed ceiling, ceramic tile family room, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, plus laundry room with washer and dryer. The house has 3 TVs and VCRs with over 100 videos and a basement recreation room with bar. It has hot water heat on 3 separate zones for winter comfort.

The house is owned by avid antique collectors and is decorated with antiques and authentic furnishings throughout - decorated seasonally. All linens and supplies are provided for your convenience. There is a gas grill, outdoor furniture and a fire pit behind the main house. Firewood is provided for both inside and outside use.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.

Surroundings

Two Century House sits on 7 wooded acres and has trails throughout for walking or skiing. Fruit trees and wild flowers abound.

The house is located just 3/4 mile north of quaint Sister Bay, Wisconsin in beautiful Door County.
