Accommodation details

The 2500 SF four bedroom 2.5 baths NorthStar home sleeps up to 8 people. It has cathedral ceilings and a spacious open feeling throughout the house. There are wonderful views out to the woods and water. The house features large living spaces, a comfortable kitchen with many amenities and adjacent dining space. There are two wood burning fireplaces, one in the kitchen/dining room and the other in the great room. There is a large master bedroom suite with private bath and separate sitting areas. The first floor bath features a double steeping tub. There is a stone patio and barbeque on the lakeside of the house as well as a screened in porch off the great room.

Surroundings

The house is in an area that is quiet and serene, yet close to all of the many amenities of Door County. The beach in front of the house is rocky, reminiscent of the coast of Maine, although it does change dramatically within a few hundred feet. A wonderful county park with public parking is only about ½-mile away and is sandy and picturesque, near the coastal lighthouse that can be seen from the shore in front of the home. Nearby recreation includes swimming, fishing, golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, hunting, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing.
